FACEBOOK’S SUPREME MODERATOR OF THIS INFORMATION AND THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING IT DOWN IS THE WUHAN LAB’S CHIEF OFFICER
Tech companies Facebook, Google, and Twitter work together in deciding what content should be banned or flagged for review. The whistleblower will appear before the senate Congressional hearing coming up.
They use a platform called Centra to to track its users, not just on Facebook, but across the entire internet. Centra tags different profiles that a user visits, their message recipients, their linked accounts [and] the pages they visit around the web that have Facebook buttons. “Centra also uses behavioral data to monitor users’ accounts, even if they’re registered under a different name.”
FB uses its internal project management system, “Tasks,” to coordinate censorship with @Twitter and @Google.
The platform reflects censorship input from Google and Twitter, as well…Facebook censorship teams communicate with their counterparts at Twitter and Google and then enter those companies’ suggestions for censorship onto the Task platform so that Facebook can follow up with them and effectively coordinate their censorship efforts.
After the congressional hearing we will reveal more, stay tune.
